My tables are designed to be used every day. Each piece is built to order, with flexibility in size, materials, and finish to suit your space.
Dining Tables
Solid hardwood dining tables designed for daily use and long-term durability. Sizes, edge profiles, and river designs can be customized to fit your room and style.
Coffee Tables
Coffee tables built from the same materials and techniques as my larger pieces, scaled for living spaces. Available with or without river epoxy designs.
Benches
Matching or standalone benches built to complement dining tables or entry spaces. Dimensions and finishes can be tailored to your needs.
Custom Pieces
Looking for something outside these categories? I regularly build custom furniture and one-off pieces. If you have an idea, I’m happy to discuss it.
Customization
Every table is built to order. Clients can customize materials, finishes, and design details to create a piece that fits both their space and their taste.
Wood Selection
I work primarily with solid hardwood slabs, including locally sourced species when available. Natural grain, knots, and live edges are preserved whenever possible.
River Epoxy
River tables feature epoxy fills between slabs of wood. Clients can choose:
- Epoxy color
- Level of transparency (clear, tinted, or solid)
- River width and shape
Finish Options
Each piece is finished by hand for durability and longevity. Finish options can be tailored based on use and appearance preferences, including matte, satin, or gloss.
Overlay and Cutout Options
Optional overlays or cutout details can be incorporated into the design for added visual interest or functional elements.
Process & Delivery
Build Process
- Initial inquiry and design discussion
- Material selection and design confirmation
- Build phase (typically about one month)
- Delivery or pickup
Lead Time
Typical lead time for most tables is approximately one month, depending on materials and design complexity.
Delivery
Finished pieces can be delivered within roughly a day’s drive of Madison, Wisconsin. Delivery options for longer distances can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Nighthawk Woodcraft focuses on building functional furniture with an emphasis on material quality and thoughtful design. Each piece is built start to finish in my Madison workshop, with attention to joinery, finish, and long-term durability.
My goal is simple: create furniture that will be used, appreciated, and passed down.
